Castillo De Luz

The Castillo de Luz is an immaculate manor that serve as the headquarters for the reigning Rowan Council. There are live-in suites and offices for each member of the council along with formal and informal dining halls, conference rooms, and offices for their subordinates.
Most of the year the members of the Rowan Council will work from the Castillo but return to their own homes during personal hours. It is only during the end of year reviews and times of emergency that the members will reside at the Castillo.
The interior is a mix of marbled floors, intricately detailed reliefs, and delicately painted motifs. Each room reflects painstaking craftsmanship and extravagance.

History

The Castillo was constructed in 1830 as a headquarters for both the Light and Dark Fae leaders to utilize. However, it did not take long for the underlying resentments and microaggressions to evolve into flat out bigotry and near assaults. Thus it was only 12 years after the Castillo was built that the Dark Fae withdrew from the establishment to construct their own headquarters. Ever since, the Castillo de Luz has been a building for only the Light Fae governing body.
