Tiamat - The Chaotic Dragon

Tiamat, the Chaotic One, is the multi-headed All-Mother of Chromatic Dragons. Residents in Talamh do not know how she spawned, though they know she is not from the realm. She appeared to come into Talamh with Bahamut for reasons unknown. Because of her multi-realm presence, she is chaotic and wishes to dominate through destruction, which most dragons do in practice. Therefore chromatic dragons were brought upon the realm of Talamh, wrecking destruction and wrath upon the world through dragons that devoured.   It is because of her that many mortals fear dragon-kin, even Dragonborn. She has used these irrational fears to build further dominance of dragons. Occasionally even she comes to civilizations to wreck havoc for her own delight. It doesn't help when she is the sister of Bahamut.

Divine Domains

War, Trickery

Divine Symbols & Sigils

Dragon head with five claw marks.

Tenets of Faith

World domination is the greatest of her tenets. She teaches to any followers that the opposing gods are their enemies and brought them mortality, and therefore must be opposed. In this opposition, they can take the world and their mortality for themselves.

Divine Goals & Aspirations

Tiamat wishes dominance over the realm of Talamh for a power play against divines of other realms. Often she finds herself constantly being thrown back to the Nine Hells as punishment, which she has tried countless times to escape.

Mental characteristics

Sexuality

Tiamat is a female, deciding to oppose her brother Bahamut in all of his values and even down to physicality.

Failures & Embarrassments

Fortunately for most realms, Tiamat has a history for being thwarted by brave mortals in order to keep her from taking over the realms she often comes to. Therefore, she has a grudge against mercenaries and adventurers who come across her path. She will not hesitate to eliminate them.   She is also often sent to the Nine Hells for all her scheming, constantly needing to escape for her treachery. Needless to say, it has made her grow tired.

Morality & Philosophy

Some have speculated the insane nature of Tiamat's "lawful" alignment along with her chaotic alignment. Archmage Celius Drelili of Tallia, however, offered an explanation in 1A 1547: "Tiamat's chaotic nature would involve chaos in her alignments. Contrarian alignment is, in itself, chaos. It exceeds mortal imagination, far beyond anything even the chaotic Elves can fathom, nor even stand."

Personality Characteristics

Motivation

Tiamat seeks to dominate over the world, like the dragon kin based in her image. Bringing terror to lesser mortal beings is satisfaction to her draconian desires. This means money, food, sex, and power are what drives her to try to take over realm after realm. (Though, it appears that she is never successful).

History

Tiamat and Bahamut are siblings first and foremost, representing opposing ideas in the world. Bahamut stands for justice, righteousness, mercy, and peace. Tiamat stands for treachery, lust and greed, domination, and conflict. Therefore, they do not like each other and are constantly fighting against each other over the state of the realms.
