General Aramis goads the Goners in Europe into trying to do a naval attack on the UK and decides to flex his intellectual muscles by making them all land on the already-evacuated Isle of Wight and destroying their ships (which are confiscated from civilians) from afar rather than actually losing a significant number of lives fighting them and just leaving them trapped there (lizard bois can't swim). When they beg for food, he sends them food AND drugs (pepper is found to have opium-like effects on Goners) to make most of them into pepper addicts who sell their armour and weapons to him for drugs. Meanwhile he sends his forces, regularly equipping them with hybrid human-Goner gear so they're more effective against the small Goner forces they encounter.

This gets the cogs in the Scandinavian Union's head turning and it decides to unleash tonnes upon tonnes of SNIPER TANKS to take Germany and almost all of Europe East of it, including Italy. Thanks to a shortage of Goner enemies to fight, they're able to get all this by the time Aramis's other genius tactics have won the UK, which renames itself the United Commonwealth , Europe West of Germany and all of the North African Coast.

Aramis and the United Commonwealth had such a reputation among the Goners that they usually surrendered or ran away whenever United Commonwealth's forces were approaching and this only made it easier for Aramis, who made sure to pick up and hybridize tonnes of alien gear and recruit more fighters in every location that was "liberated". Soon all of Africa was part of the United Commonwealth.

Meanwhile China, Russia and India all gobble up some territory from the weakened Goner forces in the Middle East.
