Gvadhuval

Gvadhuvals are the Selhavals who many consider to be the strange cousins to the Eilavals and the Belvals. They live in the cold valleys of Gvadhuvasha in southeastern Syrasha, and rarely leave their chiefdoms. They believe that Mirvahadh lives on in the form of Vagar, who is a dreamed avatar that the Disturnals have access to. Rather than focussing on Mirvahadh's music, the Gvadhuvals instead spend time with Vagar, living second lives in their dreamwoven world.

Like all Selhavals, they have pointed ears and very good hearing. Gvadhuvals still do music and song as much as their neighbours, but do not place as much emphasis on it. Their music therefore tends to be used to aid in the dreamweaving process. It is said that the humming of a Gvadhuval mother can send a raging Beastman into a deep slumber. Because they do not put much emphasis in being civilised--or indeed in the waking world itself--Gvadhuvals live in conditions that many others might consider basic or even primitive. They dress simply, and tend to keep to themselves if they are travelling. Because of their dreamweaving ability, Gvadhuvals need to sleep more regularly than most others do.
