Eilaval

Eilavals are the Selhavals who come from the High Kingdom of Talhudh. They believe that Mirvahadh returned to the sun when she died, and that the only way to continue to sing her sacred songs is by attuning to the music of the sun itself through the Helion Hymnists. The Eilavals live in high places to be closer to the sun, and their capital city of Gvihevada sits at the eastern end of the Grand Syrashan Road that crosses most of Syrasha.

Like all Selhavals, they have pointed ears and very good hearing. Eilavals are avid lovers of music and song, and are a joyful people, said to always be in high spirits. They frequently travel and find work as minstrels, bards, and general entertainers, and even though they often look very similar to Belvals, Eilavals dress in bright colours and wear loose clothing suitable for dancing, whereas Belvals favour more form-fitting, less chromatic, and more pragmatic attire.
