Helion Hymnists

When Mirvahadh died during the Enlightenment, some of her followers believed that she actually returned to the sun from whence she came, and determined that the only way to continue to sing her sacred songs with her was by attuning to the music of the sun itself.
The Helion Hymnists believe that by discovering and singing the sacred music of the sun, they can restore Mirvahadh's spirit. Even though the sun's song cannot be heard, its existence is evidenced by the effects of the sun, for they reason that for a thing to have so much profound influence on Ebdypha, it must produce some sound. The Hymnists study shadows, sing and pray to the sun, employ sun-powered musical instruments, and make frequent offerings to the sun in order to try to embolden the sun so that one day they might hear and learn its beautiful music. It is said that only a handful of the greatest of the Hymnists have ever heard the smallest whisper of noise from the sun, and that it was so profoundly beautiful that they lost all their other senses, and became unable to share what they heard.
