Andeman

Andemen are a rarity among the Vrakais. Thought to be the result of ancient breeding between Vrakais and humans, they make up a minority of the population of the princedoms of Aselaih Forest. Despite Ork'luso dying at the beginning of the Young World, the Beastmen princedoms are so-called because only when Ork'luso returns from the dead will a true Vrakai kingdom be founded. Though most Andemen live within the princedoms, many do not. They suffer prejudice no matter where they go, finding no home among other Vrakais or humans. They are very rarely members of the Servants of Onyx order, which aims to revive Ork'luso, unite the princedoms, and rule over their old enemies: the Alchemists of Ibrium and the Hredan Visaria. They are instead mostly found wandering throughout other civilisations of Ebdypha, mostly across Heruadum.

Andemen are roughly the size of humans. The telltale features of an Andeman are only the nails that tend to grow strong and pointed, and the presence of sharp canine teeth. The more astute may be able to tell an Ademen by their behaviour: As Gwerines, they have strong hearts and are thus prone to stronger surges of emotions, and like all Vrakais they can only eat meat. Unlike Beastmen, Andemen do not normally have a fear of open fire. Though they are not harmed by sunlight, they often prefer the shadow of forests and the dark quietness of living within the edge of the Unending Dun.
