Abdemn

Abdemn was a Runar of Yihyaphem. Abdemn's Enoxais became the Liabdais and he took them west.
In time Abdemn came to fall in love with one of his own Liabdais people. Over time, their family became a separate lineage from the Liabdais called the Ebtarrais. Seeing the chaos caused by the Tower of Ubrem during the Enlightenment, Abdemn and the Ebtarrais travelled deeper into the Unending Dun and start a new kingdom in the deepest darkness, leaving the Liabdais near the fringes of the Dun. Over time the Liabdais grew jealous of the favouritism shown to the Ebtarrais, so they capture Abdemn's wife Emenya and force Abdemn to take his own life. Not wanting any harm to come to her, Abdemn complies. War breaks out between the Liabdais and Ebtarrais as they fight for dominion and vengeance. After many generations the reasons for the war faded, and the Liabdais—who had been mixing with nearby humans and developing hearts—and the Ebtarrais divided up their land, with the former living south of the Aliallage Mountains and becoming the Toaccai, and the former living north of the same mountains. The order of the Widow's Brethren have the frozen bodies of Abdemn and Emenya, and are trying to bring Abdemn back to life using his Celesvena.
