Arador Ironbeard

(a.k.a. The Sixth Engineer)

Arador Ironbeard is a dwarven artificer and former member of The Seven Engineers, a prestigious league of intelligent and ambitious minds.   Arador Ironbeard's journey to becoming one of The Seven Engineers was a tale of skill, ambition, and a touch of fate. Hailing from the renowned Clockwork City of Goug, nestled deep within the rugged mountains of Carth, Ironbeard was a dwarf machinist with a penchant for crafting intricate and innovative metal limbs. Seeking his fortune where his talents were rarer, Ironbeard embarked on a journey beyond the confines of Goug. His travels eventually led him to Garilland, a kingdom known for its blend of technology and magic, a perfect match for Ironbeard's own expertise.

The Seven Engineers

Setting up shop in Garilland, Ironbeard showcased his craftsmanship by creating and selling a variety of metal limbs, each imbued with both mechanical precision and magical enhancements. These limbs, unlike the existing prosthesis in Garilland, could move to the user's will. His creations garnered attention not only for their functionality but also for their aesthetic appeal and ingenuity. It was during one of his exhibitions that Ironbeard caught the eye of Maximillian Mandorf, Otto von Kassel, and the other members of The Seven Engineers. Impressed by Ironbeard's skill in melding technology and magic, they extended an invitation to him, recognizing his potential.   Accepting the offer with eagerness, Ironbeard joined the ranks of The Seven Engineers, bringing with him his knowledge of dwarven craftsmanship. This blend of the runic magic of the dwarves and the science Garilland had to offer, Ironbeard pioneered the creation of arcane firearms - deadly weapons capable of firing intense magical abilities, such as fireballs or arcs of chain lightning at their opponents. Ironbead's research, along with that of Ruger Lareau and Allarn Vaskar, led to the creation of the Panzaknackers.

Post-War

After Garilland won the war, Ironbeard continued to work for the Cosmic League and The Seven Engineers, although he started drinking more often and used vectors daily, particularly a vector known as Saint Euphoria. Ironbeard's mind started to cripple, and was eventually discharged from The Seven Engineers. He is known to have left the country, but his current whereabouts are unknown.
