Tenebris
Lesser Daemon of Darkness, Depression, and Apathy
Tenebris is the Lesser Daemon of Darkness. Her powers go hand-in-hand with her brother Timoreth and her father Moth'Taron. She was created after her brother to aid in the machinations of Timoreth, as it is within the darkness that lies, secrets, and the most primal fears originate. However, because she also embodies darkness in the mind, she also has sway over those who are hopeless and depressed. Because of this, her very existence is seen as an affront by Sabazios, who sees her as encroaching upon her own power. However, in practice she does not encroach on her more powerful counterpart, as while Sabazios revels in active hopelessness, Tenebris feasts more on apathy, depression, and meaninglessness. Tenebris knows best that the longer one stares into the dark abyss, so too does the abyss stare back into you.
