Lake Nyestra

Lake Nyestra is a large lake at the base of the Gaerngron mountains, that is the source of the Nazarine River. The lake is also the main source of fresh water and fish for the city of Amitatys, which has made it a key target for The Western Calradian Empire in their attempts to take the city from The Eastern Calradian empire. Both sides have fought bitterly over the lake, but the West has often managed to assert it's control over it. However, control frequently goes back and forth, and many soldiers and sailors from both sides lay dead at the bottom of the lake.
