Herodia
Lady of Death and Rebirth
Herodia is a demi-god older than all the Calradian Saints of Godric, and even many of the Greater demons of Aloth. She is a truly primordial being, and it is suspected that she may have been the first child of any of the Primordial Triad.
She is the goddess of death, mercy, new starts, and vengeance. She is often known as a two-aspect deity, as she both defends from death those whose time has not yet come, while also hastening the death of those who threaten the balance of the mortal plane.
She has been experienced as both a glowing beautiful female with stag antlers, but also as a dark shadowy and decaying figure with glowing red eyes and a ram's horns. None but her mistress Eostre know what her agenda is, but she is generally regarded as the closest to a True Neutral deity that could possibly exist. She ensures that the cycle of life and death continues unabated, and even Saints and Greater Demons fear her intervention in their affairs.
