Duke Ospir Dey Malric is the current patriarch of the Dey Malric family, having succeeded his father Thranduil Dey Malric. His features are unique among Swadian nobility, but the House Dey Malric has always been unique, with multi-coloured eyes, pale skin, and beautiful long black hair. Ospir himself is rather antisocial by nature, but is known as a strict disciplinarian, and takes pride in personally inspecting the troops, mercenary companies, and hunters that his family personally funds and commands from their home in the city of Ostican. He is well beloved by the people of his city, as he personally funds housing for the poor, and pays pensions to wounded soldiers that fight for him. As a result, peasants from throughout Swadia volunteer to join his companies, if or when they pass through. Even though this is technically illegal, no Swadian noble is willing to gain the Ire of the duke enough to call him out on it.
In battle, he has been known to ride with some of the heaviest cavalry the Swadians have ever fielded. His personal knights were instrumental in defeating the early Imperial attempts to regain control over the lands of Swadia. Ospir particularly despises the current monarch of the Swadians, but is willing to accept his rule, as long as he does not meddle in how the House Dey Malric manages their affairs.
