Cousins
- James Greenwood is Jennifer’s much older 0th cousin. Whilst she does not, necessarily, dislike her brother, they are not close. On account of the age difference, they had no shared childhood. James left home to take up a career in the military immediately upon leaving school, before Jennifer had even reached the age of three. Although nothing has ever been overtly stated, it is abundantly clear that James (Jennifer never calls him “Jimmy”) shares much of their mother’s world view and is heartily disapproving of Jennifer’s politics and her lifestyle choices. Consequently, James has not, to say the least, been a frequent visitor to (nor a welcomed guest at) Leigh Croft; the same is not the case, however, for James’s wife, their children and latterly grandchildren with whom both Jennifer and Victoria share cordial relationships.
- Lucinda Scott-Tyndall (Aunt Lucy) is Jennifer’s ascendant first cousin once removed.
