Stone Slab

year: 1857 (Discovery)

Inside the largest of the pyramids the archeologists have found a strange object. It looks like a stone slab, with 11 tiny blue stones. During their archological searches around the globe they have never seen anything similar like it. It doesn't look expensive, is not made of rare materials or gold, has no inscriptions, nothing. It is heavy, feels like granite and has 11 perfectly flat embedded blue stones. The stones have different diameters and are placed irregular. The purpose of the stone slab and the blue stones eludes the archeologists. The blue stones seem to sparkle on the inside when they catch light and they have an afterglow glowing effect lasting several minutes, no other effects have been noted.

year: 1886 (Research)

In the years that follow several researchers have investigated the stone slab, but didn't find any clue about its function. They where able tod etermine the age of the stone slab. They estimate it over 170 thousend years old after debating heavily on the method of fddetermination. They all question the used methods. They used a new measurement method that worked fine on each old item until the stone slab made them doubt. The stone slab should be over 2 million years old which is 'absurd' and 'rediculous'. So they measured again, and again. In unbelieve the try other methods. The end conclusion is in fact that they are unable to scrape even the most tiny piece of the stone, they are unable to drill a hole, heat it up or cool it down (the stone stays as cool as it is!), or pry one of the blue stones out. They where stunned by the fact that the best diamond drill was unable to drill a hole.
And so... the 'old' stone slab was passed from lab to lab and finally ended up in the smitsonian museum, where it was placed by the collection of items found in the largest pyramid.

year: 1904 (Science)

For no specific reason mr. Nicolai Tesla felt the need to look at the collection, around 1904. specific details are not known. Mr Tesla also saw the stone slab and was intrigued by it. the notes from the researchers, the broken drill and the descriptions of tests that have been done on the stone, made Tesla think. He stood there for more then 2 hours, staring at the stone slab. That pattern was so familiar... yet... something was off. He left the stone alone and went home. The visual representation still swirling though his mind.

year: 1906 (Investigation)

winter 1906, Tesla is working on a improved version of his radiotelescopic device. He had requested some details on planets, planet movement and such. As he looks at the diagram he notices a pattern that looks familiar. He keeps looking at the pattern and then he smiles. Its the flat depiction of the solar system. Our solar system. He starts calculating and wonders ... if we only know 7 planets, what are those other stones? unknown planets? they perfectly fit. Quickly he works out a schema and some notes...

The next day he is on his way to the smitsonian, to talk to the director. If his calculations are correct, and he knows they are, he can proof that it is our solar system. The fact that there are more stones then planets probably can be explained by science. He also knows that it will make the stone slab a very controversial item. not to mention the value of such an anomaly for a collector. or problems it would cause for an institute like the church.

year: 1912 (Eureka!)

Tesla will figure out that a sufficiently strong magnetic induced field activates the stone slab. Tesla also experiments with electricity, beams, rays and magnets. It is by accident that he finds out what triggers the device and what it might be. It will still take a long time before he actually can control the device.

year: 1916 (Scientific Proof)

Tesla demonstrates that with the right kind of energy placed nearby, with enough power added, the magnetic device will light up the blue stones inside the stone slab and project a map of the solar system in a correct way in thin air in 3D. When activated it will visually power up the blue stones, forcing beams of light out to form imagery. It will show earth and venus in synchronised pulsating way.

year: 1920 (Conclusion)

Tesla's predictions and calculations hit the mark. He convinces an Astronomer to investigate the sky at the given coordinates and he predicts that there will be something out there on the locations indicated with the map. Then the telescope finds a asteroid on the predicted location. Its clear. The stone slab is a map of our solar system.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

Electromagnetic waves from an AC magnet of sufficient power energize the blue stones. The stones are highly efficient energy recievers and emitters. The power is used to energize the inside of the stone slab and are send out in rays of directed light. These small beams are aimed at microfragmented shield bursts with high precision. The bubbles are precisely located "microbubbles" and work like droplets of water. The shield bursts are controlled from within ths stone slab, will be exactly where the are needed to light up and disappear as soon as that position is no longer needed to project light. During their existence the microdroplets reflect light in all directions. A 3D maps will appear and when correctly influenced with electromagnetic current and other magnetic fields it will be a zoomable map showing the exact locations of the portals and receptacles. The detail on every planet, moon or meteor of any significance is astounding. Standing in the beams is impossible as the reflective droplets 'catch' the light and disperse it. Raw materials & Components

The stone slab is made of a unknown material to us on earth. It's a device made of material that looks like stone, but is made of extreem durable metal, maintained by microbic replicators. These replicators use any source of radiation to get or keep powered up. The blue stones are compressed Kethat stones, a material not known on earth. Kethat has enermorphic capabilities and is capable of emitting radiation (light), block radiation (shield).
