Kethat Stone Material in Café Noir | World Anvil

Kethat Stone

This material is extremely rare on earth. Its not native to earth. the 11 stones in the Stone Slab are the only ones ever found on earth.

about wavelengths and energy input / output efficiency

shorter wavelengths convey more energy then long ones there is a limit to how much energy can be concerted and what the difference is between the input and output. the stone can be overloaded and if so it will disperse a huge amount of energy in what would be equivalent of a small atomic bomb. how much energy and when it will do that is unknown and difficult to predict or calculate.

There are a few warning signs to keep an eye on. First, a humming sound will become louder and goes up in pitch when thresholds are reached. if the material is overloading there will be a bright light for several minutes, as the birght light begins to blink and pulsate there is only a little amount of time left to stop the overloading. As an emergencysolution, one could drastically lower the temperature, this will buy a little extra time.

The blue stone was considered a gift from the gods in ancient egypt. The high priests used it in their most holy ornaments. Mainly because it has a magnificient blue reflection and bright glowing effect in the darkness. The mayans had surprisingly enough also a small chest with several lumps in it, but there is no record or finding of them using it..

Properties

Material Characteristics

compressed material, harder then diamond. blue color

Physical & Chemical Properties

Blue Kethat has enermorphic capabilities: convert and transform energy into other forms of energy. In principle it is capable of changing energy into matter and vice versa under the right conditions. but other materials are more capable to do that. Blue kethat stone is specifically very capable of converting 99,99999 efficiency energy into light blocking; reflecting; refracting (bending). Is also able to change energy signature (wavelength).

Compounds

its possible to make gravity bombs with Kethat, by adding several other components, most importantly copper or gold lines or other conductive metals. then some element 118, and a jolt of DC electricity. add a ferro magnetic liquid

Geology & Geography

its extremely rare on to find. in our solarsystem only jupiter has it (and in an abundance, compared to other finds in the galaxy), It's hard to find and even harder to delve. in gaactical terms every vein is worth a lot. Avg stones can be found in 3 ~ 18 cm thick veins, It is also possible to find 3 to 50 cm diameter rocks undergound.

Origin & Source

It's only oobtainable from the surface of Jupiter in our solarsystem. It exists outside our solarsystem, but unlike Jupiter, always in small quantities.

Life & Expiration

halflife is estimated around 4.6 times 10e12 years, stored energy will keep stored for 3.8 times 10e7 years and decay logarithmic

History & Usage

Everyday use

This technology is used to create imagery. The Stone Slab is a good example. Here the capabilites are used to create maps. Kethat can als be used in shielding for spaceships, ray or beam weapons, special optical devices and in communications

Cultural Significance and Usage

the imagery capabilities are excellent for use in navigating spacial distortions and tracking targets. Any space pilot needs something to find his way under all circumstances.. the kethat is considered one of the best materials to use in state of the art optics. The Qu' Nathai tribes are ancient spacefarers and have eaon old religion based on worshipping the kethat for its capabilities.

Industrial Use

the best energy converters one can buy, the visual capabilities are top of the line.
