Hisenor
The continent of Hisenor is the most populous of the seven continents of Caeteria, despite not being the largest in terms of landmass. It hosts a variety of vibrant nations, from the party loving swamplands of Sergis at the southern tip, to the dour, snow-bound Talemberg in the north.
Geography
The continent of Hisenor begins in the very north, where it juts out from the Frozen wastes. This area of epic mountain ranges and hidden, lush valleys is known as The New North. Further south, there is The Breadbasket, an area of vast expanses of forests, grasslands and steppes where the nations grow fat and rich off the vast quantities of food they produce. The western area of Hisenor is known as The Hook, due to the way it curves out. This area is blasted by hot winds and, as such, has lush tropical areas and barren deserts. The centre of Hisenor is a land of tall mountain peaks and lake filled valleys known as the Hisenor Range. The very south of the continent, known as just The South, straddles the equator and is hot, but very humid, resulting in rainforests and swamps.
In terms of oceans, to the west of the mainland lies the Aiuran Sea, where the Aiura Archipelago sits, thousands of tiny tropical islands. The western coast touches the Narrow Gap Sea further north. The East coast is mainly touching on the Celestial Sea, the largest of Caeteria's oceans, and Saloess Bay in the very North East.
