Sy is all about proving others wrong and surviving which usually go hand in hand for them. They want to step out of the refugee status their kind are seen as and make a name for themselves. That said, they don't talk much unless they trust someone or they're drunk when they normally try to fight everyone and anyone.
During their time in Caspia, Sy signed a contract with The Curator. In exchange for Brys Menellyth being returned to life-they agreed to create something beyond beauty, then burn it.
Learning to develop their art skills, they began working with Aesha in Highgate. Together they built a new home for the Nyss at Fort Whiterock. In doing so, Sy became a member of the Frozen Blade.

Special abilities
Sy learned about nature and survival while they were hunting. Both were necessary skills in order to bring down a kill. Stealth was important as well, but they become more proficient at it when they started working in the city and needed to keep attention away from their criminal activities. Acrobatics came from being a little rough and tumble with Brys Menellyth, he was a lot stronger so Sy had to find other ways to beat him. As for perception, keen eyesight has always been important whether it be hunting or finding a target in a scope, being observant was always necessary.
