The Light Jackal
Purpose / Function
To serve travellers food and drink.
Design
Inside the high ceiling is supported by several large beams. The main room is large with several fire places and a mix of long rectangular tables and some smallers ones. There's a bar along one wall. Behind this is the kitchen with state-of-the art technology (most patrons would find this tech confusing, especially in bygone eras). In a small shadowy corner is an officer where the bartender keeps the records.
Architecture
It's a one story building, made of clean lines and pink wood that no one is sure exactly where it came from.
History
This tavern has been around as long as any one can remember. Some whisper that it's been around since before there was a planet. Most just laugh of this talk but sometimes at dawn when one looks at The Light Jackal just right, it looks like it's fading away.
But no matter what, The Light Jackal is there for travellers looking for some hot food and something to drink after a hard day's travel.
It's known for its baked pasta and pink mead.
