Personal history

Nate is the youngest attorney at the Nexus Law Firm. He's worked hard and is successful at his job. He didn't mind taking the train from Killystrand to Beteny, as it gave him time to finish work or unwind. He's been friends with Zedock Lygon as they were born within days of each other and grew up just doors away from each other. The two have been there for each other for everything. But there were some things, Nate couldn't talk to Zedock about. They remained friends with Zedock helping him out after his indisecrtion came to light. It's his personal life that he struggles with. He married Natalie Fleming when they were both young. Neither of them were quite ready but it was arranged for them by their families. When he was diagnosed with Flickering Pulse, it scared him. While the surgery to get the Arc Rune Cadence went smoothly and quickly, it was still enough to throw him for a loop. Afraid he'd never find true love, though he did hold affection for Natalie, he went to bars in @bet almost every night, looking for the woman of his dreams. He was sure he'd found it in Amethyst Cannon. But he never told either woman about the other. With in a few months of each other, they informed him they were pregnant. A few weeks later, he slipped up and they found out about him. Natalie divorced him, Amethyst left him and shortly before they gave birth they were on Train-42 (produced by Luminary Locomotives) at the same time Nate was. Natalie and Amethyst leaving him and telling him that he'd never get to see his children sent his anxiety spiraling into depression. He attempted suicide by blowing an EMP on the side of The Whispering Spine. All it did was kill everyone, including Natalie, Amethyst, and their unborn children, plus a few who weren't on the train, but Nate (amazingly) walked away from it. He's been in phsyically therapy since he was released from the hospital.
