Danja
Not much is known of Danja. This bronze dragonborn was encountered along the Long Stride assailed by a pack of painted dogs. She fought valiantly at Brynk until it fell to the Scorch. Seeing how the Shields held themselves, Danja knew this was her best bet at avenging her fallen.
Danja, like most dragonborn, is terse and strong willed. Her silent meditations and disdain for music evoke a fight for inner peace. Despite this, she can be heard playing a small kalimba when away from others. She claims that the heavy gilded chain she wears around her neck represents the weight of the world she carries and the discipline she must maintain.
In the wake of Newbrook's fight with the giant Jenalak, Danja has formally agreed to join the Shields.
After the Siege of Shiftgate, Danja with a few others made a pact with Zariel:
"She must seal away the Scorch and defeat all demons within the desert. As long as she completes this task or dies trying, her monastery will remain safe from the rest of the world."She has taken on more devilish features (undetermined) thanks to this pact. She elected to join the Shields who entered the Scorch. Watching the legions of seared creatures broke her morale and she joined the splinter west despite her promise to Zariel.
