Aarakocra

Vigilants of the Elemental Plane of Air, Aarakocra are birdlike humanoids stranded on Cabochon in the southern Greylands. Elves have often defiled and hunted their kind to near extinction. They are often just called "Birdmen" as 'birdfolk' usually denotes the ancient species that once conquered the world. Their tenuous connection to the ancient Ari is not well known as most point to the Ozwok as direct descendants of the birdfolk.   Those settlements know the wider of Cabochon line the Spine within the Greylands. These aarakocra rarely interact with other Ochita peoples. Speculation that 'angels' that dot Cabochoni lore are actually misremembered or exaggerated accounts of these beings. Like many other beastfolk within the world, aarakocra that do interface with other cultures do so with their silhouettes buried under robes or armor.
