The Foxfire Den
If anyone references a saloon in Wreath, they're probably taking about the Foxfire Den. The massive claymore over the bar does a lot to deter any less mildly inebriated foolishness, though. Jace Maverick is 44, an ex-adventurer and not afraid to show it. He has more stories about hunting wyverns, riding bears, and stealing kisses from bathing maidens than anyone in town.
What's more, somehow, he managed to get his inn built just beside the other two inns in town, and adjacent to the village green. He must have had something to show for all his boasting because theories around how he manages to begin his inn's construction have been wild. The rear wall of the inn even opens up to the Upper Green during festivals so he gets even more business. It must all be worth it though, because the finest imported spirits only come through the swinging doors of the Foxfire Den. If that wasn't all, his rotisserie chickens are the best in town. His lodging isn't cheap, but being a newer inn does mean you get more privacy and amenities. Allegedly.
Purpose / Function
Jace Maveric doesn't cut corners and goes all out when doing anything. The same goes for his in. He wants it to be the best the town has to offer and goes out of his way to make it so.
Alterations
The backside of the building has a wooden awning that can be raised and serves as an outdoor barside patio. The fact that it faces the Upper Green is a significant point, as Jace gets substantial business during festivals and weddings.
Architecture
While it is another wattle and daub style edifice, it's so new it the pain has practically just dried. Or is that actually just another fresh coat? Sometimes it's hard to tell.
