Vuwqua's mace, Thumper, has been imbued with the soul of a battle leader. Allies who see it in action are emboldened while enemies are disheartened. After delivering an especially devestating blow, the effect is multiplied.

Personal history

Vuwqua has always been a trouble maker. She frequently caused conflict within the Stagstbur Research Group. If it weren't for Zhosis, she would not have lasted long within the group. But he saw the value of her contributions and made sure to smooth the problems within the group.
Vuwqua first met Zhosis when she joined the Stragstbur four years before the Great Plague. While Vuwqua was mean and hateful towards everyone, she held some respect for Zhosis as he was able to treat her with kindness regardless of how mean she was. The respect has only grown since they both became Scions. While their goals would appear to be opposing (peace vs. war), they have the same end goal more often than not. As such they will often work together behind the scenes on a problem. They are both quite careful to keep this cooperation hidden from those they are working with.
Zhosis has also become something of a confidant for Vuwqua. She relies on his input when she has personal problems she is dealing with, or when a problem is more than she can handle.

Even in the best of circumstances, Vuwqua tends to solve problems with violence or at least by encouraging both sides to anger. She does spend some time analyzing the situation and when smashing heads won't bring the situation to further conflict, she resorts to words. She will also happily use sabotage, intimidation, and other techniques to encourage all sides to violence.
