Unonochax (unonoˈtʃax)
While the blade dancers of the Ujajoxoro are well known throughout the Two Continents, their necessary and powerful counterparts, the Unonochax, or blade singers, are less broadly known. it is the blade singers that help the smiths cause the Fonujajo that compose the most powerful blades to flow easily and controllably. Unlike most other metals, heat alone does not allow the mystical metal to be shaped. Thus a blade singer will work with a smith during the forging process, singing chants and melodies developed over time to imbue magic upon the raw metal and allowing it to flow.

Social Status
Among the dwarfs, and especially the Ujajoxoro, blade singers are held in the highest regard. They rarely become leaders outside the forges, as their gifts are usually in high demand. However, when a singer offers their opinion to dwarfs in power, they are usually listened to.
Outside the Empire, very few people have even heard of the blade singers. In the magical community, they are generally respected when they are known. However, their magic is very speciallized and not something most users of magic see little need for, so it is not unheard of for them to be derided by ignorant mages. Howerver, this is a dangerous mission, as blade singers have been known to demonstrate their magical prowess by plunging a highly charged magically blade into an offenders heart. There even rumors that a singer working on a particularly powerful blade may intentionally goad a foe so they can capture that foe's essence in the blade at the moment of death.
