Qualthelyn
The capital city of Free Coast of Qualthelyn they have one of the most diverse and unconventional histories of all Tivel. They city is haven for people on the East coast and those from abroad due to the many freedoms that the people enjoy. They also have the largest population of Tsa-Shazin in Tivel.
Demographics
The only city with Majority Tsa Shazin. They also host a myriad of other species, mostly sun dwelling due to the warmer than usual temperatures of this part of Tivel.
Government
The people make up a large council representing the different districts of the city. The city also houses the center for the rulers of the entire Free Coast of Qualthelyn.
Defences
The city has high walls, a lesson learned from jealous and prideful neighbors.
History
The city was established after the First Era Collapse as many Tsa-Shazin from Sunotria were displaced. A small group sailed up from their homeland and landed at where the city would be built. The Theolese Theocracy which had recently formed in Tivel hadn't claimed the land because of the harsher climate, but to the fleeing people, it was just like home. They thrived on the coast despite the best efforts of their human neighbors and eventually became part of Kingdom of Tiveldech during the Third Era.
Geography
The land around the city is notably more arid than the rest of Tivel. Their are sparse trees and the plains are not as green, but Shazin technology and tradition were able to create a bustling city.
