Also refereed to as just Val, it is the capital city of Valthame. Here deep in the Tivelian woods Magic is practiced and studied. Val serves as the capital of all things arcane and enchanted. The city is known for its extensive pneumatic tube system and the School of Magic.
The city is ruled by the Hoch Magier, a powerful mage elected by their colleagues for their arcane power.
