The Shattered Chain
A network of islands said to represent what were once the mountain peaks of a now sunken land in the Circle Sea The seas between them are choppy and dangerous to shipping though navigators who can find their way in this region are highly prized. Many small communities and settlements exist on the islands of the Chain but none large enough to be considered a nation. Many are primitive fisher folk of the Emna people. The free city of Steelhaven is located here,
There are also secret bays and inlets used as pirate lairs, and the home ports of The Black Brotherhood
