Emna

The Emna are a small group of people, native to the islands of The Shattered Chain and found nowhere else. Physically they are short and wiry, with brown skin and straight black hair. Culturally they have advanced little beyond the stone age, using flint-tipped arrows and spears as weapons, though they are expert at boat craft and their canoes can carry them around the islands in the chain with ease - they know the safe ways through the dangerous passages.
Their religion is a simple and unorganised form of animism, worshipping the spirits found in particular locations. Their creation myth suggests that they were once a race of kings over the whole world and rulers of a great land that was destroyed in a cataclysm beyond the far memory of mankind.
Some of the Emna are friendly to strangers, others are anything but.
