Growing up together in House Amadis, Beringer took great care to be supportive in Sophia's schooling and training as a noble woman. After being apart for more than a decade Beringer was shocked to see that the little girl he had left behind was now a young woman who was now courting.

History
After several strained first meetings the two were finally able to bond when a young Sophia fell and hurt herself while running in the halls of Castle Blackbriar. Before anyone else could reach Sophia, Elizaveta had gently scooped up the crying girl. Elizaveta was able to comfort the crying girl as Countess Anna watched. The two would soon build a strong sisterly bond with Sophia being the little sister Elizaveta always wanted. Later everyone would find out the young Sophia had thought Elizaveta was some kind of cold pale ghost or ice princess haunting her.
