Hammer and Anvil
A blacksmith shop located in Stockcross close to the Temple of the Gods. Known locally for their skill in filligree and decorative pieces the smiths here pride themselves on quality products for good prices. Often busy producing hundreds of components for the shipyards they rarely produce armour or weapons but keep a good supply on hand for the guardhouses and graduates of the Stockcross Public Consortium.
The store is run by two brothers and their sister.
Mako Anvil, the eldest of the three is a stout dwarf in his 200s with a fine black beard rife with silver veins. His platted raven hair is kept back by a red bandanna and a metal file through the resulting bun. His arms are strong and covered in tattoos honouring Gelbrand and Sirra. Standing just over 4ft tall he commands the shop with skill and wisdom. Known for his stubborn attitude to prices he often works the forge rather than dealing with customers.
Silver Anvil, the middle child and sister of Mako and Onnen is considered to be plain in looks in her early 180s. She is often in her trademark cow leather apron of black and white patches with her large goggles over her doe eyes. A faint chinstrap beard is visable, though newcomers to the store might think it soot. Her auburn hair is kept in three tight braids that trail to her lower back. She has several gold piercings in her ears and a large ring through her septum. She is often the face of the store dealing with customers with a wide smile and positive attitidue.
Onnen Anvil, the youngest of the Anvil family and only just in his 130s. Despite his young age he stands above his siblings at a proud 4'5 and flaunts this by placing his tools on shelves out of their reach. He dresses in a dark leather shirt and is often working the anvil or sculpting bench. His has a bald head and no beard, often trying to pass as a small yet stout human, though it never works.
The three siblings took over the shop from their father Umi Anvil and their mother Wistle Hammer-Anvil nearly 40 years ago.
