Sirra
Sirra is the goddess of death worshipped in the Kingdom of Breaton and Driston Empire. She is depected as an old woman with waist-length white hair, deep wrinkles on her face and plain grey clothes. The most common symbol used in worship of Sirra is an hourglass with the sand at the base.
Despite the grim subject of her worship, she is considered to be a loving, grandmother-like figure who welcomes all with open arms and a warm smile. Tributes to her are given when anyone passes on in small tithes to her temples or songs of praise at funerals, it is never a sad occasion when Sirra claims a soul for her home.
The finality of death and its inescapeable nature means that in areas that follow Sirra creation of undead or resurrection is strictly forbidden and seen as an abhorrent afront to her plan.
Each town or city in either the Driston Empire or Kingdom of Breaton has a place of worship for Sirra but the two largest are in Pineglen and Phancaster. The two temples have a friendly rivalry over who's temple is larger, with neither allowing either to measure accuratly.
