Patron god of innovation and construction. Gelbrand is worshipped in all settlements in Beru and his main temple can be found in Phancaster which was constructed not long after the city was founded. His colour is gold

Gelbrand presides over construction and innovation within Beru. He is worshipped in all towns and cities by all tradespeople such as blacksmiths and masons, who pray for flashes of genius and inspiration.

Divine Symbols & Sigils

His holy symbol is that of a double-headed hammer, though some worshippers alter the hammer to fit their trade; woodworkers use saws, stonemasons use chisels etc.

Gelbrand's singular goal is innovation and perfection of a craft. He is never satisfied with a project and believes that everything can be improved.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Gelbrand is shown to be in peak physical condition due to his mastery of every trade and diligent work. Though his skin is bronze in colour it is riddled with scars from injuries sustained from his work, burns, cuts, abrasions and gouges create a topographic tapistry that tells his story.

Facial Features

His alert eyes shimmer and boil like crucibles of molten gold, though he rarely looks away from his work it is said he always sees those around him. His beard is made of tight umber curls that never can never burn or be cut.

Special abilities

Though he rarely interacts with his worshippers it is said that when a craftsman is struggling they will be imbued with his skill and expertise in a flash of bright sparks, a single strike of their tool and the work is completed to the workers design. 
When master crafters present great works of skill to Gelbrand's alters they can vanish in a cloud of smoke to be replaced with a bronze tool of their trade. This tool becomes a sacred treasure to the crafter and a sign to all that they have truly mastered their craft in the eyes of Gelbrand

Specialized Equipment

He carries a belt made from dragon scales with a single loop and solitary pouch. Whenever Gelbrand reaches for a tool it appears in the loop and the pouch always has the fixing he needs to complete his work.
