House Cadogen
Current Emperor: Owain Cadogen
The most powerful House in Gath, House Cadogen is the house of the imperial bloodline. It's current ruler is also the emperor. The Emperor is Gath, and Gath is the Emperor. The Emperor rules from Ennesburg, a large, bustling city snugged into the northern mountains of the Erie Spires. The majority of the military might of The Empire typically is stationed within the valley, with each house then responsible for the garrisoning, protecting, and enforcing Empire Law in their lands. All nobles are required to travel to Ennesburg at least once a year, if they are physically able, to report on the conditions of their lands, as well as to pay taxes and obeisance to the Emperor.

House Cadogen has always had an uncanny ability to know what is happening within the confines of The Empire. Conspiracies often thought secret are often well known to the Emperor, usually much to the dismay of the conspirators. Though it is well known that the Emperor has a network of Thedar spies that serves his house, none can know who they are, where they are, or how they collect their information, though there are some things the Emperor has knowledge of that even spies could not have known. Yet since the inception of The Empire during the year 1757, until now, the Imperial line has always had a knack for learning even the most obscure of secrets among those of the Empire.
