Introduction to Bavo'sand

"Welcome to the City at the centre of the Spheres, welcome to Bavo'sand"
  The City of Bavo'sand on the world of Bavan, is a marvel to all who visit it, there is no other place like it, it is a city of millions of sentinent species of Elves, Dwarves, humans, centaurs as well as many other races make they homes within the city wards and distracts. While the city is highly advance and thriving metropolis the rest of the world is ignored and un explored, Since the times of the mass migration of the peoples from the western end of the continents to as far east as they could go.  

Setting

  A city of politics, a shadowry fight between Noble Houses and the up and coming Guilds of the City, while outright war is highly unlikely, as that would stop the flow of money though the city, but many plots, backstabs between them all. As well as a homebase for many a guild and adventuring group that cross the spheres, the famous groups like Armed and Ready and Red Falcons. The city is the place to be seen and to pick up those big scores and jobs, and create a legacy that is remember thoughout the ages.   The city is a hive of science, magic and invention, for the Newspapers of the Sheets, to the great Mist Gates that made the city the place it really is. If something is known in the Spheres there is a good chance there some level of it within Bavo'sand be it technology or science or just a new way of operating.  

People of Bavo'sand

  While the original 4 races of Bavan are still the most numerous people of the city, nearly every race that can be found within the Dark can be found within the city, but here are the species that have a notable number of members, or are a power house within the city.   Along with these species, there are tens of thousands of immigrants from other worlds, or just short time visitors passing though on a daily basis, travelling though the The Wayfaire Gateways to their homes and trading partners within the City and further afield. Species Options for those Immigrants can be found over at the The Dark  

Organisations of the City

  The city is a teeming mass of people, which means politics, deals and power is avaiable for those who willing to grab it.  

The Great Houses

  The original noble houses of the Bavan, the old money as it were, some are still heavily involved in the politics of the city while others are bying their time till their time comes again.          

Minor Houses

A couple of the Great houses in the early days of the history of the Cities and Republic have fallen out of power and now while they still wealth beyond knowledge they aren't a Politic power house like the other houses both Great and Traders.    

Trader Houses

The New blood of the noble houses, bringing new ideas and money in, both came from outside of Bavan from other worlds, and now they are seen as Noblity rather than just a guild with money.    

The Guilds

  Guilds are the social-political opponents of the Noble houses, and are seen as the modern power brokers in the city. Are they well they definitely seem to manage to get what they want some of the time.    
 

City Organizations

The are many organisations within the city that make the city run with a smooth well oiled system.

  The Gods of Bavan both the good and the tratiors.            

Magic of Bavo'sand

  Resurrection, Revivify works every time, but anything beyond that isn't a guaratee and requires a level of magic and connection to the soul you trying to return. Bar Revivify Spell, all resurrection spells can only be cast as a ritual, friends and family of the soul being requested to return can help in the ritual by offering up something to help the caster in contact and appealing for the soul to come back to them.   Teleportation Spells work with the mists just like in the other Spheres. and you flick between the plane you on to the Mists, unless you learn the Crystal Mages spells direct teleportation between spheres does not happen, and you can cut a hole into the mIsts onto the nearest path but you need to travel those paths to you destination. While the short distance teleportations you get the sense of just Grey as you travel though the mists and reappear back where you were.

The City of Bavo'sand is far to big to map in the entirety, so the map is broken down into the Precincts and Locations will be given a precinct they in.
