The Gallery

On the first level of the well the ring facing the well is known as the Gallery. It contains many different shops, all fronted by beautiful bay windows crossed with leaded diamond panes. Each shop has roughly the same shape and size but inside they are unique. Shops include

• The Refraction Attraction - a small jewellery shop, that both purchases and sells fine jewels, jewellery and other precious materials. It is run by a small dwarven woman called Ioreth Chiselnook.
• All Things Nice - A shop that sells fine teas, coffee beans, herbs and spices. Due to the mostly bland food that comes from N’uma’ner seasonings are highly sought after in the city and cost a premium. Odan runs this shop with his wife Agnes and they are continually looking for new sources of spices. Agnes has a brutal mercantile streak and rarely takes no for an answer when it comes to making a sale.
• Scentsory Perfection is a Chandler of the highest renown in the city. On top of wonderfully scented candles they also sell fine incense, lanterns and oils. The shop is run by a shifty young dwarf known as Fitz.
• Runaway Pride is a tailor and milliner that creates custom garments for their clients on order. The walls are covered with dozens of bolts of fabric of all different colours and patterns. The shop primarily deals in custom pieces of attire, but does keep a small collection of clothing in the back that can be altered at shorter notice. Running the store is it’s owner, a Human woman named Helen, in her early 60’s who's grey hair is held in a tight bun at the back of her head. She enjoys finding the perfect garment for each of her customers but is more severe with those who do not respect her craftsmanship or the time required to create them.

• The Crafter’s Works - This small shop sells a collection of artisan’s creations from across the city. You can find handcarved wood and stone statuettes here, as well as some simple iron tools, households goods and the occasional antique here. More often than not the Shop is staffed by a young human girl with brown hair, freckles and twin pigtails known as Ayo. The owner never seems to be present.
This shop is a front for the Enchanter Khaji, a Tabaxi who works from a back room. She is flirtatious and bawdy, particularly towards female elves and half-elves. She is a lean figure with black fur, amber eyes and wears a clean cream blouse with a worn leather apron over the top. Her enchanting room and shop is a haphazard chamber full of curious contraptions, various components and tools. She stands behind a desk while she works, illuminated by a floating orb of light that responds to her commands that she calls Clarence. Khaji talks quickly and is often distracted. Aside from being flirtatious, she is fascinated by magical equipment that she hasn’t seen before. She possesses enchanted glasses that can be configured to Detect Magic, Identify or See Invisibility. These are her own creation and she will not part with them.
