Craghammer Foundries
This is the most successful business in the entire city. It produces all of the arms and armour for both the Skirmishers and Guard, as well as mining the finest quality stone for construction. Alongside the foundries it’s named after, Craghammer also has a very extensive research wing who has developed many new types of siege weapons primarily, but their most famous creation are the Warforged.
The foundries run most hours of the day, and have enormous forges for their largest creations. Enormous Flues for these forges travel underground before emerging into the Shepherd’s Rest district.
The foundries are run by Euan Craghammer and his twin brother Gwyn oversees the research wing. Both are the younger brothers of Councilmember Ceri Craghammer who sits on the council. Euan and Gwyn are fiercely competitive and, with the success of the Warforged the influence in the past few decades has tipped from Euan to Gwyn. Euan is always seen in fine clothes to suit his status as an affluent businessperson while Gwyn is often seen in a leather apron with an enormous tool belt around his waist in the event he feels the need to tinker at any point.
