As a wild socialite, Vasili is known to appear at political and public occasions often, and after getting raucously drunk, disappearing for several days at a time into his private rooms.
True Identity
There is speculation over Vasili's true identity, especially after his jacket was psychometrically read by Soryn d'Nemishcata, during which she saw Strahd von Zarovich's face with a feeling of envy. Volenta Popofsky revealed that she was in fact Vasili during the ill-fated Feast of Saint Andral in Vallaki, and that she was using her Death Mask to maintain the disguise. It is unclear if the people she was manipulating/working with, including Fiona Wachter, are aware of her true identity.Mental characteristics
Personal history
Vasili arrived in Vallaki about five years ago, and since has been seen intermittenly within the town. He is known to be a heavy partier, so disappears for weeks at a time nursing hangovers, and recovering. He is close friends with Nikolai Wachter Jnr. and Karl Wachter.
