Arasaka

Arasaka used to be a typical high fantasy continent. Adventuring was the best profession, treasure hunting, and nations at war, were common everyday occurrences. You had your Kings and Queens, Farmers, Peasants and Soldiers. Every kind of race and profession you would find in your classic high fantasy setting. That was until 200 years ago when Demon Lord Krane came to power. After centuries of life in the underworld, Krane grew tired of his life and decided to conquer the largest, and at the time most powerful, continent Arasaka.
His beginnings were rough. While he is a powerful Demon Lord his journey to the material plane was difficult. His first arrival saw his demonic powers majorly depleted. He had his 3 commanders with him, but they were equally weakened. Over several years Krane's influence and power grew. Eventually his Demon Lord status was fully restored and his overthrow of Arasaka began.
The Denboldir Kingdom was first to be taken by Krane and his commanders. Krane named this nation to be his throne and built his castle upon the Blainbour Mountain range. Demon Commander Fraxus was charged with keeping the Kingdom running smoothly.
Next up was Roshiaca. With the races of Roshiaca being more fighting heavy and strong in unity Demon Commander Boonmaw was given charge of conquering this wild and strong nation.
Then quickly after that the Caspary Empire was brought to its knees by Demon Commander Missandria. The Caspary family is still the royal family but Missandria has her grip on the royal throne from her powers of persuasion and cunning.
Kleubraizia was the hardest to conquer as the mystics and people of the desert nation were strong in the ways of divine and nature. This caused Lord Krane to rethink his strategy and had him ressurect a fallen ancient king of Kleubraizia. Thus Demon Commander Sralios was brought back to life and was able to overthrow his old home and now rules Kleubraizia as he once did.
Now demons live among the villages, towns and cities of Arasaka. Each settlement used for mining, fishing, farming anything to make the new nation of Arasaka to prosper under the rule of Lord Krane. Life for a nondemon is difficult. All the other races have forced to work together and along side each other. Even more feral races like goblin, bugbear and undead skeletons work in harmony with all other races against the demons.

Geography

Arasaka for the most part is flat and hilly. The mountain ranges to the north aren't massive but is home to the Iron Fir Forest. Arasaka has many large lakes that allow the land to be flush with life. However, due to Krane coming into power his influence and presence has caused for many of the rivers to dry up. The once vibrant and colorful lands now turned to many dull greys and browns.

Ecosystem

The current environment is depressing. It is constantly overcast with an eternal eclipse put in place by Demon Lord Krane so his vampire servants can move around freely.

Localized Phenomena

Ever since Krane came to power he set an eternal Eclipse on the land. This only effects Arasaka and not any other continents.

History

Two hundred years ago Demon Lord Krane took to power and forever changed the way Arasaka worked as a continent. At the time neither Baephios nor Nineveh were able to combat Krane and Hugo from Hugo City didn't care as long as trade was still possible from Arasaka. Since then Arasaka has changed a lot, with more and more demons being introduced to the world. Living with them soon began to be seen as the new norm.

Tourism

After Krane took over Tourism and merchants slowed for a few decades. It wasn't until Krane assured the other continents that he means them to harm and just wishes to rule his land as his own.
