Session 15: Returning Home? Report
General Summary
Upon returning back to the Material Plane, they emerge next to the crystal where Uriel cast the spell that had sent them into the Temporal Void. A short walk leads them to a masacre, where over a dozen bodies of mercenaries can be found. Liath resides there, slumbering as the storm outside is weakening him.
They explore Uriel's tower, finding a letter from him and raid the tower for gear. They did remember to grab the sending stone from the hidden compartment by the stairs. Ophellia also managed to grab a number of the gems from the tower walls. (1 Blue and 2 Orange. She also grabbed an additional oranage one from the forest) The red crystal she spoted exploded when she tried to grab it.
They head into the village, they headed to Duke's Gambit after checking Asog's Home, where they were attacked by some strange animated corpses of some of the villagers that had crystals growing out of their flesh. Ophellia and Darnalore did and autopsy on one of the bodies and learned somethings about them.
They then swept the town, killing any zombies they found, including an zombie Pastor Purtell who had an orange crystal growing out of him. After checking the town, they then buried the dead in the graveyard. Icarus found that Grammie was still alive and well. Later the entire party went to visit her, where she let them sleep in the brewery after feeding them. We end the session with the party completing a long rest.
