Duin
Duin is the largest settlement in the Southern Zangarian Plains, and is the primary trade hub of the area. With a veritable melting pot of races from nearby tribes, Duin is neutral ground for these tribes, some of which have rivialries and disputes going back generations.
Avugorin, the Recluse
Avugorin is considered to be one of the towns founders, having built the prestigious College of Scholars that the town is renowned for. Since the college's construction, it has attracted large numbers of studious individuals and wealthy merchants to the town, making it one of the most academic and cultured settlements on the continent of Iyos. While Avugorin is known to be a recluse, refusing to meet with anyone who seeks an audience with him, it is well known that his influence over the town is not to be underestimated. His wealth and influence over the local government has been seen time and time again.
