Asilla Rose

Summary

Asilla Rose is Galavan Rose's youngest child and only daughter. She secretly worked over many years to find the evidence that eventually brought him down. In public, she would operate under the cover of darkness, wearing a crimson-hooded cloak - leading to the moniker she was given by the people of Dawnstone of 'The Crimson Hood'. The Crimson Hood is known for exposing more well-off individuals' financial exploitations of the common folk. In reality, however, she is a member of The Silent Shadows.

Appearance

Asilla is a young woman, only just into adulthood. A pretty face hides her hardened resolve. Neither short or tall, she has a slim frame that also belies her physical capabilities. She typically wears dark colours, though her 'criminal' work sees her don her titular crimson-hooded cloak.

Early Years

The Rose family weren't nobles at the time of her birth, only ascending into minor nobility following the disappearance of the Blackthorn family when Asilla was just into her teens. However, The Rose Trust's existence gave the Rose family a strong standing in the community, giving Asilla a childhood that her father was denied.

A Rose's Thorns

Whilst her father tried to hide his dealings from her, Asilla worked it out quickly. Realising her father's involvement in the death of some of the Blackthorn family and enforced disappearance of the rest, taking down her father become her number one priority. She came into contact with Ariel Blackthorn, her childhood friend, through her work in the Silent Shadows, who told her the truth. In trying to collect evidence, she exposed other malpractice amongst the business and financial sectors. Finally, the opportunity came. With the help of an adventuring party (unnamed at the time, but later taking on the name of The Grey Knights), they acquired the evidence from Galavan Rose's study.
Asilla became the key witness in her father's trial, which saw him put away on a life sentence in the Midnight Stockade. She is currently in the process of trying to return the Blackthorn family home back into the hands of its rightful owners.
