Abbey of the Wind - Aenar

The walls and ceiling are sturdy, and solidly built. The gates have two timbers to put in place if they need to be barred. The Gates are open and you can see some activity inside.

Purpose / Function

A small abbey offering refuge from the world. Training to those who are worthy, to fight for those who have no others to fight for them.

Architecture

There is a high wall with a large wooded gate with an iron grate in it to speak with those on the other side. The walls are 12' high.

The abbey is constructed of timber. The roof is covered with reddish brown tiles. The Mahogany wood front porch wraps around both sides of the building. The beams inside are exposed and grayed with age. There are shuttered windows, all painted red.

The entrance is a set of large and ornately carved Antarn Makore Cherry doors with metal reinforced studs along its length and breadth. The hallway beyond has 6 high windows. There are benches to sit and wait. Beyond is a fire pit with small, low stools to sit. Hanging are iron lanterns, light the area.
