Sacred Ferellian Crusade
The Ferellian people were stuck in their medieval era on Nynäävynyma for several thousand years, non-warfare related technological innovation held back by massive power struggles spanning the entirety of the single main continent on the planet. Only advancements for killing were made, creating a strange hybrid of steam and even diesel equivalent powered machines and medieval armored melee warfare and tactics.
One fateful day, Ra’Ghül, the Toxic God emerged from the Void, unifying the entire Ferellian race into one unitary crusade, assigning them the divine purpose of spreading his word and power through the galaxy in the form of toxic gasses.
Public Agenda
The Sacred Ferellian Crusade sees their holy purpose to be the spreading of their god, Ra’Ghül, the Toxic God, by “terraforming” every planet they come across with toxic gasses to resemble their holy home-world of Nynäävynyma. They travel through Avendora in massive crusade fleets, eschewing the colonization of new planets in favor of remaining forever (aside from excursions outside their vessels to purify, gather resources, etc) aboard their sacred vessels, spreading the truth of Ra’Ghül. They aim to on day convert every planet in the galaxy to their home's atmosphere, only then finally settling down on the many planets they already sees as belonging to them. Locals of those planets “fortunate” enough to be chosen for purification have 3 options: take up arms and join the crusade, move to higher ground above the acidic gasses that now coat their planet, or die, donating their souls to be absorbed into the Toxic God himself.
Assets
While the Ferellians do not disclose the exact number of their assets to unbelievers, it is known that they possess over a hundred million warships and billions of warriors. These numbers are split between dozens of crusade fleets that roam Avendora, the largest of which being The Fist of Ra’Ghül (named after its capitol ship), which has over a million warships comprising it alone.
Trade & Transport
The crusade does not enact much trade with other nations, but their largest exports are so called "Hearts of Nynäävynyma", and acid batteries. Over centuries of rock turning to slag from being melted by acid and then being compressed by geological changes, pearl-like rocks are created that are incredibly dense and smooth. These rocks are used most often as very valuable jewelry, but also have industrial uses such as drill bits and other things that diamonds would be used for traditionally. Much more commonly, the acidic gasses that cover the surface of the planet can and are very frequently used to make effecient batters and chemical reactors.
