Shale's tribal leader, Earthvoice Phinala, identifies the mystical bond formed between Shale and Dodogama after multiple interactions and officially names her Beastheart, a title spoken of in Firbolg history; but not seen in the tribe in generations.
Dodogama receives a divine inspiration from Erastil in the form of visions. These visions are shared with Shale through their bond.
Unable to make sense of Dodogama's vision herself after much meditation and focus, Earthvoice Phinala reaches out to contacts in the Loccannian city of Auralis' Bardic College for assistance.
Earthvoice Phinala's contact in Auralis sends word that they are able to help Shale, but it will take time and require Shale to be admitted to the College as a student.
After 2 months in the Colleges of Auralis, Shale and her mentor are able to decode the first of Dodogama's visions. They point to the farthest eastern continent of Therrania; to a territory therein known as The Queendom of Night.
Armed with a destination and a goal, Shale returns home to here tribe to be armed with resources, supplies, and well-wishes on her journey.
Shale returns to Auralis with Dodogama, secures her final supplies and sets off on her grand journey to the other side of the world.
After supplying up in Auralis and securing a caravan for the several days travel, Shale arrives in Star Sand Harbor, leaving the same day to head for Wave's Heart.
Shale arrives by boat in Wave's Heart. Determining the next path forward and securing transport takes 5 days.
Shale leaves Wave's Heart by boat and heads northwest along the Finger of Gozreh towards Port Soto.
After 6 days on the river, Shale arrives into Port Soto. She spends a night resting to secure passage further north to Mor Bay.
Shale arrives in Mor Bay from Port Soto after 4 days travel via boat. Securing passage from Loccann to Arvid from Mor Bay proves more complicated than expected and Shale winds up having to wait for 4 days before a ship is available heading back to the Arvidian town of Black Coast.
Finally securing a ship, Shale begins the journey across The Black Domain towards Arvid for the next leg of her journey.
After 7 days at sea, Shale finally arrives in the town of Black Coast in Arvid. She is fortunate enough to be able to immediately secure a caravan heading north to the town of Marsh Walk.
Shale arrives in the river town of Marsh Walk. She spends a day resting to recuperate before heading further northeast to Bardograd via caravan.
After 2 days travel, Shale arrives in Bardograd. Shale spends a day determining her best course of action next, realizing she'll have to get a ship from Arvid to Therrania with one of The Tails coming up imminently. She is directed towards either Raven's Rest or Stone Shore.
After several days of overland travel, Shale arrives in the port town of Stone Shore. After searching and significant negotiating, she finds a captain and crew willing to assist her in getting to Therrania, but with significant risk. However, she must wait in Stone Shore until The Temperate Tail has calmed.
After nearly a full month delay, Shale's passage across The Cerulean Coil is set underway.
Shale spends more than 2 months on the ocean with the crew she hired. The journey is treacherous, but the crew is capable. In order to save the time that Shale requested, the captain and crew agree to Entreat the King...
After months at sea, Shale finally reaches solid ground once more, arriving at the only open port in Therrania, Tyche's Gift. Shale spends only a single night in the city to calm her nerves after the journey, before pushing forward.
After a bit of investigation and resupplying, Shale leaves Tyche's Gift heading east with a merchant train towards the city of Telefyra. She arrives and begins asking for how to safely get to The Queendom of Night.
After much searching and negotiation, as well as the large majority of her remaining funds, Shale manages to find a trader willing to make the long journey from Telefyra all the way to a waystation called The Edge of the Green. The journey will take them all the way around The Wyrd Wood, skirting the southern edges of The Scorn.
After a full month of travel near two of the most trecherous stretches of Therrania, Shale finally enters a narrow spread of The Wyrd Wood and arrives at The Edge of the Green.
After 3 days of waiting for a suitable caravan for both her and Dodogama, Shale is able to secure passage, finally leaving Therrania's main territory and entering into The Queendom of Night.
After 2 harrowing days through The Ghost Woods guided by strange horse-like creatures known as Ghostrunners, Shale and Dodogama finally arrive back in safety at the town of Mist.
Now in Therrania, Shale begins asking for guidance on where she should look, spending a day in the town of Mist to gather information. After getting more leads she is pointed towards the capital city of Lykofos. Given the warning to avoid entering The FEN, she travels on foot with just Dodogama over the next four days before reaching the capital of Lykofos.
Dodogama and Shale receive an unexpected vision while Shale participates in an Augury ritual with the Coven of Circe in Mist.
