The Bright Wagon Under The Night Castle

A fanciful covered wooden wagon sits on a dimly lit street. Decorative paintings adorn the walls, back, and even the wheels. The city around it is plain but pleasant, seeming very different from anything you’ve seen in Auralis. Above the city is a deep and expansive blue-black sky with no clouds, only a single bright moon. The only thing breaking up the skyline is a massive castle in the distance, sitting upon a hill seemingly shaped perfectly to be a pedastel for the stonework.

From an invisible perch high above a great body of water surrounded on all sides by a thick encroaching forest, you see a massive creature staring across the surface back at you. Its body a mass of white and green gnarled vines and vegetation serving as flesh and muscles. Deep white clouded eyes without emotion look out from under antlers, each the size of a great tree with long tendrils of moss and wet plant matter trailing down like curtains. You look away for a brief moment and catch a glimpse of its reflection in the water, it’s eyes now black and the vegetation brittle and cracked, replaced with thorns and barbs in many places.
