Avanshae The Ocean of Gods

Welcome to the world of Avanshae. This world exists as a blue-green marble spinning through space in the prime material plane. The gods of multiple pantheons laid claim to this world thousands of years ago, and have chosen to remain directly involved in the lives and livelihoods of the races and species that have come to flourish under their watch. For those first few thousands of years, the gods were petty and jealous of each other, demanding that their disciples and followers find and destroy the followers of their rivals. War after war was waged across the world, great magicks were bestowed and invented to create advantages for one side over the others.   The world now sits in an era of unprecedented peace as the constant wars between the Gods have left only 4 remaining pantheons. These 4 houses have divided the world and its people up across the new laws and rules of the global peace treaty: The Benevolence Accord.
