Kinavi

Kinavi is a massive, twisting continent in the southern hemisphere of Avanima, just below Alvana. Though it is just as vast as its northern neighbor and has equally alluring resources to exploit, Kinavi is rarely considered a major player in Avani civilization. Most of its known nations are concentrated in the northern corner of the continent, but much of it remains unexplored to this day.

Geography

Most travelers to Kinavi will head towards Constolba, the Capital of the Jasani empire. Northern Jasani is covered in dense forests and rolling hills, but as one travels further south the land quickly becomes more arid and mountainous. This area, from south Jasani all the way to the Kishani coast, is covered in canyons and cool desert (very similar to parts of the Middle-east, Utah, or Australia). If one travels west from here, the mountainous regions give way to vast sand dunes marked only by the occasional river and oasis. This vast desert continues for hundreds of miles, until it is replaced by more savannahs and some jungles. In the east, the continent is much more tropical and swamp-like. This region is much wetter and more fertile for plants than most of the continent. It makes the area great for farming, but also more dangerous to live in.
