Xadiu
The city of Xadiu was built on the banks of a carefully crafted harbor and is truly a fully modernized city, thus leading to it becoming the capital city of the Kingdom of Xelathor. Its charm is matched by the backdrop of several waterfalls which have helped shape the city to what it is today.
The resources these waterfalls brought were of great importance, but they were also influential when it came to architectural designs as the vast majority of buildings incorporate the aesthetic elements of water and waterfalls, as well as the lush greenery they provide.
The skyline is spreading with peculiar skyscrapers and many show their age and a rich history. Daily life isn't too stressful in Stonewick and it has attracted a lot of attention. Various cultures have left their mark not just on education, but also upon the city's identity. What historically was a city of little diversity has grown into a large melting pot and it's this that unites the 100 thousand people to this day.
It's this multicultural identity that has truly left its mark. Hundreds of food carts, clubs and sandwich bars offer a plethora of culinary choices and those who feel hungry for something else can enjoy musical activities, one of the many parks, theaters or one of the many other recreational venues.
Districts
The city of Xadiu is divided into six districts. The Pearl District is at the top of the city and is where the palace is located. Below The Pearl District lies The Cascades, this district is home to a great many of the noble houses within the city. The next districe is The Tides, an area home to a number of shops and the Temple to Kioron God of the Sea. The Coral Valley is home to a great many resteraunts, taverns, and eateries in addition to a number of homes of the denizens of the city. The next district is The Cove, a district of temples to some of the othe gods. The Ripples are the largest district of the city, home to many of the citizens of the city while also containing the many harbors and docks responsible for the commerce of the city.
Guilds and Factions
On the outskirts of the city hidden deep within the forest is the Cryptic Athaneum the home of the local sect of The Epitaph, a guild of skilled assassins. It's location, nor its existance are not open knowledge and only those whom seek their services or have extensive knowledge are even aware of them.
