Shardborne
These blue skinned deathless humanoids are the creations of The Fall of Shards. The shardborne are immortal spirits that are reborn over and over again once they die. Though unlike many of the other humanoids of the realm they are not reborn as a baby, but instead are born as adults when a shard of the cosmology falls from the sky. When the shardborne are reborn they no longer have lands or masters they're bound to, which has lead to many to search for a new cause to serve, while others enjoy their lives of freedom. Many of the shardborne find themselves drawn into the service of The Matron, and become the guardians and protectors of her temples.

Biological Traits
Born of the Fall. You have resistance to necrotic damage.
Menacing. You gain proficiency in the Intimidation skill.
Deathless Nature. You require no food, drink, or breath to survive.
Trance. You don’t need to sleep, and magic can’t put you to sleep. You can finish a long rest in 4 hours if you spend those hours in a trancelike meditation, during which you retain consciousness. Whenever you finish this trance, you can gain two proficiencies that you don’t have, each one with a weapon or a tool of your choice selected from the Player’s Handbook. You mystically acquire these proficiencies by drawing them from shared shardborne memory, and you retain them until you finish your next long rest.
